List Of Places You Must Not Drop Refuse/Waste On Unilag Campus

Authorities of the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG) has sent out a warning message to every member of the Unilag community to conform with the environmental rules and regulations of the distinguished institution of first choice. Read the warning message below:

Members of the University community are hereby warned to desist from the unwholesome act of indiscriminate dumping of refuse in unauthorized/prohibited sites on campus.

For the avoidance of doubt, refuse/waste generated after cleaning/sweeping must be disposed at the following designated waste transfer sites:

1.  Waste transfer site at the back of the old students’ cafeteria/library extension.
2.  Waste transfer site at the back of the Faculty of Arts/Faculty of Law lecture hall.
3.  Waste transfer site at Jaja hall.
4.  Waste transfer site at Mariere hall.
5.  Waste transfer site at International School.
6.  Waste transfer site at the Faculty of Science.
7.  Waste transfer site at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.
8.  Waste transfer site in all students’ residential halls.
9.  Waste disposal drums provided in different residential areas.
10. Waste transfer site at the Faculty of Engineering.
11. Waste transfer site at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
12. Waste transfer site at the Faculty of Business Administration.
13. Waste transfer site in front of the former Foundation Building by El Kanemi hall.


Therefore, all members of the University community are prohibited from disposing refuse/waste at the following points:

1. The front of the Department of Architecture.
2. Behind the Faculty of Science.
3. Behind the Department of Chemical Engineering.
4. Beside the transfer site at the Faculty of Arts.
5. Beside Unilag Consult.
6. Along Ransome Kuti road.
7. Opposite the Registrar’s Lodge.
8. Beside the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.

Members of the University community are hereby reminded that the unwholesome act of some site construction workers, scavengers, farmers and other members of the community setting fire to bush and indiscriminately burning of refuse on our campuses are highly prohibited.

Apart from the pollution of air, major fire outbreaks resulting in great havoc were traced to such illegal acts.
Henceforth, any person caught perpetuating the aforementioned act will be apprehended by the security.

Failure to comply with this directory may result in being arrested by *Baba Blue* Dah means Na only U waka come be dat and U will know #There's God...lol.
