Speaking with the news men, one of the aggrieved lecturers, Ben Ugheoke revealed that funds allocated to the institution were being misappropriated by the Vice-Chancellor as well as the act of misuse of power.
He stated that the vice-chancellor deliberately refused to pay their teaching, marking, supervision and professional allowances dating back to 2010.
He told journalists yesterday, that the strike will continue till their appropriate dues are paid and when things get back to shape in the university.
