Photos & Video From UNILAG Students Protest Today + The Portal Has Now Been Opened

Students of the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG) in the early hours of today Friday 6th of June 2014 made a peaceful but action packed protest around the premises of the reputable institution.

The protest came as a result of the outrageous fee imposed on the registration of courses which was alleged to be 25,000 just to edit course forms and other related compulsory payment placed on GST text books. The peaceful protest which led to the closure of all the gates of the institution, preventing exit and entry of motorists. to gain the attention of the school's authority. see more details, the video and photos below...


The protest however recorded a success as the outrageous fee has been reversed. Therefore students are to register and edit their courses without making any payment whatsoever ( i.e Fresh course registrations as well as adding & deleting of courses is totally free for all, no more payment of 25k). And those who have paid will be refunded.

NOTE: As at the time of updating this news, the course registration portal has been opened, you are hereby advised to waste no time to carry out whatsoever you have to do cux later may be late.

Also, the GST text books are no more compulsory (its no more a pass to exam halls to write the GST exams).


























Furthermore, the commencement of the 2013/2014 1st semester examinations scheduled for the 16th of this month of June, has now been postponed to Monday 30th of June, 2014.
