How To Apply For Unilag Postgraduate Hostel Accommodation

I have been bombarded with questions from the newly admitted Unilag Postgraduate students who are curious to know how to apply and go about the Unilag Postgraduate Hostel Accommodation. 

As at the time of posting this news (12:08 pm, Tuesday10th of June 2014) the Unilag School of Postgraduate Studies has not issued any official statement as regards the procedure to apply for the 2013/2014 Unilag Postgraduate Hostel Accommodation.

Photos & Video From UNILAG Students Protest Today + The Portal Has Now Been Opened

Students of the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG) in the early hours of today Friday 6th of June 2014 made a peaceful but action packed protest around the premises of the reputable institution.

The protest came as a result of the outrageous fee imposed on the registration of courses which was alleged to be 25,000 just to edit course forms and other related compulsory payment placed on GST text books. The peaceful protest which led to the closure of all the gates of the institution, preventing exit and entry of motorists. to gain the attention of the school's authority. see more details, the video and photos below...

Today Friday, the 6th day in the month of June 2014, marks yet another additional year to the life of my friend, my course mate, my brother from another mother, my surest padi, my personal person and my partner in crime.. lol, Babalola Mojeed Opeyemi popularly known as Gomez.

To be sincere, I really don't know how to appreciate the Lord's goodness for bombarding my life with amazing people in which Gomez is one of the list top. Breaking News: UNILAG Course editing portal has been opened

This is to inform the students of the prestigious University of Lagos who have been waiting to make amends to their course form for the 2013/2014 1st semester, that the portal has now been opened for adding or deleting of courses. Students who have courses to add or remove are hereby advised to do that without a waste of time and kindly inform others.

CONVOCATION: UNILAG Graduates 89 first class out of 9,729 graduating students (See full details)

A total of 89 out of the 9,729 graduating students of the University of Lagos will be awarded first class degrees during the 2012/2013 convocation of the institution which is scheduled for Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th of June 2014. 

The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Rahamon Bello, told news men in Lagos that there would be an award of first and higher degrees, diploma, certificates as well as prize giving. continue.....

UniAbuja Lecturers begin indefinite strike over misappropriated funds by VC

Lecturers of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) yesterday 2nd of June embarked upon an indefinite strike over an alleged misappropriation of funds and abuse of power by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution Prof James Adelabu.

Speaking with the news men, one of the aggrieved lecturers, Ben Ugheoke revealed that funds allocated to the institution were being misappropriated by the Vice-Chancellor as well as the act of misuse of power.

The application form for 2014/2015 Unilag Foundation programme otherwise known as Unilag Diploma is finally out.

For those who do not know much about the Unilag Foundation (Diploma) programme, it is a (one year) programme in every undergraduate course of study at the prestigious University of Lagos that enables every successful candidate proceed to 200 level (without JAMB) after the completion of the one year programme. The application form for this year is N25,000 and there is going to be an entrance exam for the eligible candidates after purchasing the form. continue....
