The sales of the hostel cards which resumed today Monday 3rd of March 2014, after the hostel application exercise was suspended sometimes in January by the Dean Of Student Affairs (DSA) Professor Kayode Amune, to enable students of the institution concentrate on their exams.
The heartbreaking feedbacks, like I have said earlier, is the fact that, some students who bought the hostel application cards today (Monday, 3rd of March) claimed that the card was sold at the rate of #1,500 while some got it at the rate of #1,000. In which the card is meant to be sold for #300, or #500 at maximum. (How disappointing) continue......
However, a reliable source has disclosed that, the card was sold not more than #300 at the early hours of the day at Ecobank and also at the sports centre of the institution, when the bank decided to move the sales to sports center because their premises could no longer withstand the numbers of students waiting to get the card.
The source further explained that, those who claimed to have bought the cards at higher prices, must have done that out of impatience and got the cards from unauthorized sellers (Black market)
I was assured that the card will continue to be sold tomorrow morning at the rate of #300 at Ecobank, and if they move to sports centre again, no wahala. Just make sure you are patient enough to get the card at a considerable amount. (Getting there as early as possible could be of great help)

And may be contacting the DSA would be necessary, if any foul play is truly observed on the side of the hostel card sellers.
