Unilag warns prospective students of Postgraduate, Undergraduate & Foundation programmes

Authorities of the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG), have sent out a warning message to every prospective students of the institution to beware of perpetrators who have been posing as staff of the institution to defraud the incoming students in any way. See the official statement below.

IT HAS COME TO THE NOTICE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS THAT SOME UNSCRUPULUS PERSONS PRETENDING TO BE STAFF OR MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY ARE DEMANDING FROM THE STUDENTS, POTENTIAL STUDENTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC VARIOUS SUMS OF MONEY TO ASSIST THEM WITH UPGRADE OF SCORES, ADMISSION TO THE FOUNDATION, UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES, PROCURING TRANSCRIPT, PAYMENT OF FEES, PAYMENT FOR USE OF UNIVERSITY FACILITIES AND TENDERING.
THE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS HEREBY ADVISES ALL MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO DESIST FROM TRANSACTING ANY BUSINESS WITH SUCH PERSONS. THE UNIVERSITY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUCH ACTIONS.

Have you read that clearly? I will have you to blame if you still fall a victim of those fraudsters after all the guides, advises, time to time updates and response to everything that is not clear to you in the Unilag admission process.
