Unilag announces scheduled date for 100 level students (freshers) hostel allocation exercise

Yea! Like I promised to always keep you posted on every latest update on the hostel allocation/application exercise. The allocation date for the 100 level students (freshers) has been announced. See below...

The hall allocation exercise will commence on Tuesday, December, 16, 2014 with the 100 level students.

GENERAL GUIDELINES ON ACCOMMODATION OF HALLS OF RESIDENCE (HoR)

1. The 2014/2015 accommodation exercise is strictly an online distribution and allocation of bed spaces exercise.
2. Students should note that there are limited bed spaces due to increase in the number of students.
3. Allocation of bed spaces will be on the basis of first come, first to be served.
4. All freshers shall be distributed into permanent HoR. Thereafter, they will ballot for bed spaces on the basis of the HoR.
5. Students with medical challenges (physically-challenged students inclusive) should register at the Medical Centre; otherwise their cases will not be treated by the Students Affairs Division.
6. No sale of scratch cards for accommodation. Students are advised to log on directly for allocation of bed spaces using matriculation number or jamb registration number as the case is applicable.

2014/15 Unilag students' work-study programme to commence on Mon 15th, Dec

According to latest information, students that were screened for the 2014/15 work-study scheme should pick their posting letter on Friday 12th of December, 2014 by 10am at Afe Babalola Hall as work will commence on Monday 15th of December 2014.

Students involved are to take note of this and inform others.

Latest Updates On Unilag Hostel Application For 2014/15 Academic Session

 It all seem Unilag Hostel Application/Allocation process for the 2014/2015 academic session is taking a new form this time around (a very good one I think) as there's no need to buy the hostel application scratch card to apply.

First on the schedule is the final year category. Unilag hostel allocation portal will be opened on Friday 12th December, 2014 by 10.00 am for Final Year Students category. And you are to login with your Matric Number.

Important notice to every Unilag student on 2014/2015 course registration exercise

This is to inform you that students’ registration portal of the University of Lagos will be opened for course registration for the 1st Semester, 2014/2015 academic session (next session) on Monday, December 8, 2014.

My advise for you guyz is to register your courses as soon as the portal is opened, you remember what happened to some folks this semester concerning the course registration, as a result of carelessness or better put as procrastination. Pls don't say Tayo Lawal dint tell you..lol

According to the latest information from Distance Learning Institute (DLI) University of Lagos, the deadline of the registration exercise for both new and returning students have been extended to Sunday 7th of December, 2014.

Important Notice To Every Unilag DLI Student On The 2013/2014 Residential Programme

University of Lagos Distance Learning Institute (DLI) Residential Programme for 2013/2014 academic session has been scheduled to hold as follows:

1.0 ARRIVAL OF DLI STUDENTS FOR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMME

DLI Student s are expected to collect Accommodation Clearance Cards into the Halls of Residence on
Sunday 7th and Monday 8th , December , 2014 for years 3-6 only. Clearance for years 1 & 2 is
between 2nd and 4th of January, 2015. Each student should report in his/her allocated Hall of
Residence with the following documents:
